investment in the moment overtakes trust and faith. It's direct experience of what's going on. It may sound cold, but I experienced the fact that it doesn't matter if anyone cares for me - my caring for others is what is foremost. Noone has to reciprocate, noone has to do anything. Everything is all right.

I've learned I don't like lazy days off unless I'm sick! I am much happier now, volunteering on days off, to care for shelter animals. The shelter dogs and puppies remind me how love comes into my life at the times I need it most-like I show love to the animals until they find an adoptive family-so have I needed the same sort of care and attention from others, I might not nessasarily ever see again. Saying goodbye can bring sweet memories. I love my volunteer job!
