I can get through my rough patch
Step 100: completed!
When I started my path on 7 cups I was lying in bed, thinking I just wanted to die. Today was actually a good day, no suicidal thoughts, a lot of hope and for the first time I'm thinking about the future in a positive way.
I guess I learned a lot. I learned to fight for the things and the people I care about. I learned that if I suffer I can hurt other people, because some people actually care about me. I learned that it's never going to be easy, but that I can be strong.
I'm far from being ok, from feeling "normal", but I will keep fighting.
@BlackWater
keep fighting! There are so many people that care about you. Suicide doesn't end the pain, it just passes it on to someone else. I am a listener, reach out to me if you need someone to talk to❤️

"Suicide doesn't end the pain, it just passes it on to someone else."
Thank you Kai, I'll keep this in mind! It's so true, but still most people (including me) don't realize it when they're experiencing a very dark time in their life :)
@BlackWater I'm on step 80 and since I've been on 7 cups I can tell a difference, I haven't been as low.. its nice
@Deadpool138
It's great Deadpool, I hope you'll keep getting better! Stay strong :)
I'm positive about the future for the first time in a while. I love working my way through the growth path, it's so helpful!
It's been nearly 3 years since my ex narc and myself split up ... and for once I feel great about myself
Completed step 50 today!
I'm surprisingly feeling quite good this week- especially compared to last week which wasn't pretty... I was very much blinded to anything good by my vicious negative thoughts.
This week though, I don't feel "good" but I feel "okay" and right now that is enough for me. I don't know if the app or breathing excercises are what have done it but either way I'm glad to be somewhat back on track! Congrats to everyone else!
@GlenM Things happen and they're not always your fault.
@GlenM
This site is filled with hurting but lovely caring people.
Step 60: I have learned that sometimes I strive too much. I try to hard to change something not in my control. Perhaps I look too hard for the outcome and don't pay attention to the journey or experience in the present moment.
I'm learning that I change starts with me. There are things and events I cannot control. I have to accept that they happened and control how I react and how I'm going to keep moving forward,
That recovery is damned hard work and may take your whole life to find wholeness and inner peace.
