I made it to step 220 on my Growth Path. I've learned that it's hard to balance everything and putting pressure on myself doesn't help. It just fuels judgements and guilt.
@Zeraphim Proud of you :)
Made step 10.
Congrats on making your first 10 steps @dandanAshely!
More to come! Stay positive and take care! :)
Hi all. I'm enjoying here so much
@shyChestnut651 We're glad to have you here with us too!
I am on step 1,680 and Moving Swiftly 5. I have learned that I want to feel that my pain is valid. Also I have learned to practice accepting uncomfortable feelings like anxiety and anger through meditation, and I try to accept myself as a whole person who makes mistakes and does things well too. I am struggling to find a full time job still, but I am volunteering at a Wildlife Clinic and with a professor who studies Bats, so I am feeling closer to my childhood dream of being a wildlife biologist which is pretty cool. :)
I've reached step 284!
@resourcefulPond1641

@pinkTea I really appreciate your positive attitude :) I know it's not easy but you keep maintain yourself. You're a strong person and I respect you for that :) Please never give up, I believe in you
Step 490 - I used to think that if I messed up or didn't doing something perfectly or make the smallest mistake that I should just give up and quit. But life is full of stumbles, trips and even falls. Do I choose to get up and learn or give up? -- My growth path has been a good lesson for me on this. Because even when I fail, or I feel I've lost a step or 3 (or all of them), I return to my path and the counter hasn't gone down It's a steady reminder that despite how I may feel that particular day or instance, I've made progress. I've learned so much and I deserve it to myself to acknowledge my growth and to remind myself that I am worthy of love and compassion... it's my birthright; it's all of our birthright!
