Writing can be very therapeutic. Write out your feelings and thoughts. Afterwards you can throw them out or save them and look back on them later.

I have reached step 50. One thing I have learned that is important to me is that I don't have to fight how I feel or change everything. I just need to learn to accept things for what they are, including my feelings, so that I don't keep fueling the issue with additional emotions.

Having old thoughts, feeling and memories from childhood trauma does NOT mean I am taking a step back in my healing.

Quite the opposite.

It means I have healed enough to be strong enough to look at the, feel them, and let go.

I have reached step 50. The best thing I've learned is I am not alone. So many others have scars from life and by sharing those experiences we support each other.
