Well, I like to say I do my routine of self- care without much fuss or forethought. I don't let my left hand know what my right hand is doing. Then, changes happen without my will becoming overwhelming and in control. This may sound strange but my will isn't always well. It helps with OCD not to think (overthink) things.

Thank you, App developer, founders, and helpers/listeners! You have been there! I appreciate you all more than you may know!

@GlenM I'm not going to lie, I've been having a rough time lately. Just expressing some problems that I feel I couldn't really explain to people in my life helped so much, being able to just recognize these problems and type them out was so helpful.

@1pennyforyourthoughts true, sometimes talking about our problems with someone really really helps, someone that do not judge us and be there for us, someone who show cares! And, we're glad to know it helped you *hugs if you want them* Thank yu for sharing this with us :)

Ive learned that I am worthy of love and to start by loving and respecting myself. I did not cause or create my husbands mental health issues and I am not to blame for his suicide attempts.

Step 79: I am learning that there are things that I just can't control

User Profile: lovelyWhisper66
lovelyWhisper66 March 6th, 2018

@cathrynmonroe It is a very difficult thing to accept, so well done! If we cant control something, we can at least control how we react to it.
