when things look insurmountable, my first reaction is to lose hope and give up. I then sit in stagnation and feel sorry for myself . which obviously, does not help. Instead, if I , WHEN I, take this energy I use feeling sorry for myself and channel it into motivation to move ahead, I can take steps towards getting what I need and want. There are always ways around the problem. All I have to do is to ACT. To take acti0on and that gets the creative jucies flowing and keeps me from being stuck. So instead of a pity party, if I take a positve step forward, any action forward - I forgo the stagnation and automatically feel better and make my life better. LOL - wow, took me a long time to figure this out - hahahah.
I am learning that it is okay to not have all of the answer. I am learning that although I do not have control over everything, there are little things that I can control. If I can find those little thinngs I will feel better.
I am actually starting to be in better spirits after only doing this for a day.

There are MANY people out there who are similar to me in how they've overcome challenges, still retaining the desire to uplift others. There are many people who have near identical problems to the problems I have. "You're not alone" isn't a cliche to me anymore; this site has shown it to me so viscerally I can't deny it.
The number one thing I learned is that I should treat myself like I would a friend. When I put it in perspective, it helps me to be kind to myself.
270/ I miss my children
I am learning to accept life how it comes. Im moving through some extremely tough times but the more I push it down and pretend Im alright, the worse I feel long-term. I have to embrace my feelings, acknowledge the process of stress and grief and reach out when things feel overwhelming. Im not in this world alone!
I am learning to be mindful.
