I've learned that forgiveness is one of the most powerful tools in moving forward in recovery... mostly the ability to forgive myself for the conflicts I share responsibility with. It makes me more at peace that I can move on and not feel like I'm running away from the pain. I feel stronger that I face it and can let go in a better, healthier way.

I'm learning that rest and relaxation are ok, and necessary. I'm still not great at allowing mself to do this things, but I'm trying.

I find Meditating and focusing on the present or what is happening just now helps me a bit to calm down.

I believe with tremendous effort and honesty that even abusive or toxic relationships can heal and transform into a better, healthier version of themselves.

Im hoping my spouse and I are living proof of this belief. I will always believe in the power of love and how it is ever-present and waiting to conquer our weaknesses and vices.

I do understand that some relationships can not be healed and it may not be advisable. Only you can decide what is safe, healthy and best for you.

Where abuse is concerned please find a way to ask for help, some outside points of view but be careful not to fall prey to well-intentioned yes men and ruin yourself by agreeing with someone elses opinion of your life.
