I learned to treat myself to the same level of indulgence with my words, to be careful, because unspoken words have just as much power on me as spoken words on other people.

@OftenHappyButNotAlways

Hey, friend. Thank you for saying this. I am exactly the same way and I have been working so hard to convince myself that this is true. Thank you for putting this in writing.

Much love and support.

I have PROVEN to myself that changing perspective, changes my feelings, which changes the situation, which changes my actions which changes the outcome.

Pretty powerful, huh?

when I am not around others and talk to others, my depression fights to kick in and so does the victim role.

I was not meant to stay in the house all day.

Some days are merely days. You've planned well and are excited, but can't move forward. Investing emotionally in it just doesn't make things better; I'm learning to observe these times and understand them for what they are (whatever that is).

We humans are complicated, silly, simple and beautiful, and we get wrapped around ourselves in wild ways.

@GlenM

to accept that the way I am feeling right now is temporary but will happen again and I owe it to myself to give myself some time to heal.
