@GlenM I've learned to not give up and keep trying, even when I dont feel like it or there is no point.

I've reached my 240th step and I have learned a lot about myself. I stepped away from 7cups just to test myself in the sense of my managing my anxiety with all the tools this wonderful site and its community has provided. The results? I prevailed and I soared. I have better communication and relationships with all my children and after 18 years of marriage my dh and I have reached this newfound calm and closeness it's kinda like we're newlyweds again without all the unnecessary fighting 😂. But most importantly I've learned that I can change. That I have the ability to decide what I take from this world and what I give back. Thank you EVERYONE here on 7cups for all of your support, tips and just overall hearing this crazy lady out.

Ive learned that not everyone will accept you as you are but its okay. The most important thing is to accept yourself and feel comfortable with yourself.

I think the most important thing I've learned is that stopping when we are rushing and too focused on our path and goals is important, a pause, to think, to relax, and to re-evaluate.

Also, getting started when we are stuck in stagnation is as important.I believe we should seek a balance, and

remember to accept life as it is and not as we wish it to be, in other words we should look to influence and change to the better what is within our control and leave the things outside of our scope of control as they are and accept them.

Self-care is an important component of our lives. You shouldnt feel guilty or that you are selfish for wanting to care for yourself. It is a way of showing yourself love and acceptance.
