@GlenM I've learned that people go through a lot of things, so they can be understanding towards your own situations.

I'm on step 50 of my growth path and I feel like a changed person. I know now I'm not alone and I just have to hold on and keep on keeping on. Depression is nothing but a minor setback if you have control over it. laugh

That there is not just one thing that contributes to good mental health but many small things done consistently. Each one is important in its own right.

@GlenM

succes and reaching goals is all about consistency and determination. Continuining on, even after years when it feels like no progress is being made. Sometimes it's just being in the right place at the right time that provides the spark and opportunity for leaps ahead, and the right place/time hasn't been traveled on yet. Never losing hope, keeping sites on the end, and making the process enjoyable are key. I'm still on the journey, haven't reached either of my main goals yet, but I feel like I'm learn a lot about myself along the journey, and that's the kind of progress I need.

One thing I've learned from being on 7cups is that it really helps to have a schedule, and take certain times out of your day to practice my mindfulness and just breathe :)

Ive learned that even though it can be hard to let go of negative thoughts, its really important to, because otherwise they'll weigh you down.
