Step 590. I've been doing these just so I can feel like I'm doing something

Many people, including myself, associate their worth with their job and how that is where some of my anxiety stems from.

@CaliCat814

I have to say I relate with this completely. Slowly but surely, I find Im conquering this though. There is hope, you WORK TO LIVE, not LIVE TO WORK.

Dont let it rule you🧡

I finally made the right decision for ME. Made the decision to leave my work which I had only wry recently reluctantly admitted to music was a toxic environment and begun applying for jobs- one to be exact!

result? I got a telephone interview the next day for a role that is nearly DOUBLE my salary with very similar work.

Even if I ultimately dont land the role- I WAS GOOD ENOUGH to be considered.

Ive said it many times and l say it again: the only time a person can be brave is when their afraid. And sometimes closing the door on a chapter of your life, hard as it may be, means you get to open an exciting new one.

Recovery is slow, the steps are small, but take pleasure in your victories 🧡🧡

I learned that I have what I need to do what I can. That has to be good enough.
