I'm learning that a journey like the ones we're going through on 7 cups can come with a lot of backslides. Despite working on my depression, I still have days where I don't want to get out of bed. Despite working on my anxiety, I still have panic attacks and jumpy reactions. Despite working through my grief, I still surprise myself with sudden sobs because the smallest thing will remind me of my grandmother. Despite working on accepting my breakup, I still have days where I miss him terribly. Despite working on building confidence, I still have those haunting thoughts of "I don't belong here" when I talk to others in my graduate program. Despite working on repairing my concentration, I still have days where I can't focus on my responsibilities. Despite the work that we do on 7 cups, there will be days that seemed harder than the ones preceding them. It's important that we remember that those days don't mean we failed. It just means that emotions are confusing and we need to be patient with ourselves while we work through them. Today might be difficult but as long as we don't give up, theres a great chance that tomorrow we'll be back on track to improving our quality of life. It will get easier and those hard days will resurface less often and be less challenging to face. Just be patient
