Today, I hit the #10 on my journey. Its only been a short while but I learned that taking a few minutes for self-awarness is important. I can tell that I am making progress because my breaths are getting a bit deeper everytime.
For the first time in ages, I really feel I am on a route to feeling happier and less trapped.
I just hit step 10 and I am starting to be a bit more cheerful.
@digitalshadow So happy to hear you are feeling more cheerful and step 10 is great, Go you!

I made it to step twenty & I am doing so much better than when I joined a week ago. I am going to stick with this because it is so good for my mindset & mental health.

Take life as it comes and don't stress over the past, but don't forget the lessons it has taught you.
@christenarnia What an amazing mantra to live by! :)
Just started using this site. But I find it extremely helpful. Knowing that someone is listening is very therapeutic. But in addition doing the small exercises and meditation techniques help too.
@diligentangel21 That is wonderful that you have found 7 cups such a help, We are always here for you!

I managed to envision a world where depression became a small, manageable creature, like Sadness in Inside Out, trying it's best to... well.. do whatever it's trying to do.... Rather than a cloud that accumulates around me the older I get, dragging me back the more I aimlessly wander.
