20 steps woot! and a 3 day streak!
I can't say things have gotten easier, yesterday I triggered myself with videos on youtube of narcissistic parents fighting, and it really got my blood pumping and I was like "OMG everyone just stop yelling!".
It's a big problem with me; my husband and I both grew up in those environments. I know we came out better than our parents, but yesterday I started to see little bits of myself in those videos.
Despite these challenges, I've been feeling better with the tools this site provides.

Being triggered is something we all go through in life, but you came out and are still fighting:) You're so amazing for doing so! Keep doing amazing!

@jagrey.accept the feelings and try not to fight them and allow compassion for the pain. I find that helps

I reached step #10. I've still got a long way to go but I thank everyone at 7Cups for helping me get this far. I've learned a lot but most importantly I've learned that what I'm going through is okay and that it's okay to not be okay.
