I've learned what a difference it makes staying connected to others, even other the internet. I can't shut the world out, and it's not true that I'm so different and less human than others. It's not true that I don't need or deserve the same things. I need human contact, and connection, and support, like everyone else, and I can't do it all on my own - and I shouldn't try to force myself to. If I stay connected, I can make it back to a place of health, hope, and happiness.

I've learned how to have mindful thinking and how I can calm myself by listening to my breathing and through meditation.

I have learned that I have severe depression, anxiety, and stress. I have been diagnosed with these before and I realized that cognitive therapy works best for me. I really like the site and am looking forward to checking out all the features.

Hi @robresse0608 Thanks for the kind word about features here. It's great to know that you find CBT working best. :) I have also found CBT quite effective. :)

Im still too afraid of talking to anyone, but I realized I'm not alone, and this will be a long journey and I will make it.

I have learned that I just can not ignore my bad feelings or anxiety. I must address them with meditation and/or positive reinforcement so the negative feelings don't spiral out of control.

Today I am crossing off a dream from my bucket list, conquering a phobia and stepping over a boulder in my life.

I am going with someone on a Suzuki 1300 GSXR Hayabusa, I'm quite nervous but very excited.

I'm conquering my phobia of having my head in small spaces by wearing a motorcycle helmet.

And later I'm voluntarily going to my first every therapy session. The ones I have been to before I was always forced to do.

So excited for the progress after this terrible time I have been having.

@WellReadKitten

An update, the bike ride was awesome. What an adrenalin rush (we went at 280km/h) and the helmet did not make me freak out!
