I've been cutting less and less and I feel overall calmer since I came on this site.
@PepperAnne314
Yes! Hurray for small victories, right? :)
So far I've learnt that I am enough and that I can be in control and there are those who are like me and love me for who I am.
@TheGingerCrow
Control and feeling loved for who you are. Wow. Powerful stuff. Thank you for sharing! I'm so excited for you and your journey!
I'm learning that recovery is certainly not linear. One good day can be followed by several spent in bed. On the flip side, sometimes you'll string together some good day without even really realizing it.
@mjiyn2010
Wow, such a powerful learning experience. Makes me think we should make this into a beautiful banner for people who are learning to take it day-by-day, right? Amazing. Keep being amazing, you're doing so well! Thanks so much for sharing!
So...I did it, I can feel a little bit better now, even happier than most of the time I think so
@camir24
Yippie! I hope you'll be able to grow even more with time! I'm so so happy for you
Thank you so much for sharing :)
I've learned how many helpful souls there are on this site (members and listeners!)
@gelfling
Isn't it great, learning that there are people out there who can help, who can understand? I'm so happy you've learned that!
I enjoy the time to myself each day.
@klein10
Yay! Hope it helps you grow and develop :)
I have made it 5 months since my mom died. I have managed to continue surviving almost HALF a year. Some days are harder than others. But I am carrying her memory with me.

It's hard losing mom, I lost mine more then 20 years ago. I still struggle without her but I know she is with me every day. Cherish your memories and take strength form her as she walks beside you every day
@peachGrapefruit5571
*hugs*
It is. In the end it was Lung Cancer that got her. I am happy for her because at least now she can breath again and she has her life back. But at the same time I am sad because she was only 64 and I wish I could have had more years with her.
@RainbowsPaintHope101415
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope we're helping you here with your struggle of coming to terms with your grief and memories. *hug*
Excellent!
The absolute most important thing of every day is taking 5 minutes to yourself, not moving, not thinking, just meditating
@itgetsbetterproject
Perfect, and so true. Sometimes it's difficult for people (ehm me!) to realize that they (we!) need it in our lives, but it's so important. Thank you for the reminder, and for sharing. Keep up the good work! ;)
