I learned that it's okay for myself to be shy, but just to keep in check that it doesn't mean I have to let my shyness get in the way of living my life.

In some deeper way I have begun to understand the responsibility I have to myself to be well and that only I can do it. I have often looked at this person or that person and said they did this or that and blame them or use them as an excuse not to care for myself. In other words if only people will do things the way I want them to then I will take care of myself. These past few weeks I have hit such a bottom and such an awareness of how I behave toward myself and I do not like it.
So beyond that I have begun a daily walking schedule. First thing in the morning before I talk myself out of it, I go for a 20 minute walk. After the first 5 minutes I want to stop, but I don't. I know for my life and health to change, I have to change my reaction to those thoughts. I am so grateful I found this 7 cups.
