What gives you hope when you are feeling lost or tired?

Is it a person? A memory? A quote? Music? or Something else?

@dinleyici111

Faith and self-belief, usually hehe!

Music and quotes can be uplifting too.

How about you?

@dinleyici111 music , prayer and affirmations I always tend to put "temporarily" in front of not so good days .

@Empathniyah

Thats a great strategy

Its like you're creating a little emotional buffer with music, prayer, and affirmations to help you get through those moments .

Thank you for sharing your perspective Empathniyah :)

@dinleyici111 good question 🥰💜

Music.

Faith.

Family.

Time alone.

Time to process.

I reenergise by pampering myself, a nice bath, bubble bath, nice creams, just time to slow down.

@Amanda84 :)
That's a wonderful list

Music and family are definitely big sources of comfort for me too.

And yes, taking that time to just be and recharge is so important.

When I'm feeling lost and tired I think of my kids and remember that I am doing everything I can to make sure that they are good. They are my why. Why I get up in the morning when I want to not wake up. They are why I go to work when I have to. Why I eat when I don't want to. Why I'm still here. My kids are my everything.

@Jeni3

That's incredibly powerful.

It's beautiful how your children are such a strong driving force for you.

Thank you for sharing something so personal. It really highlights the strength of a parent's love.

It's so clear how much your children mean to you.
Your kids are lucky to have you

@dinleyici111 I always like to cling to my childhood stuffed animal. It sounds stupid, but he's been there for me through everything.

That's actually really lovely

Sometimes those familiar, comforting things are exactly what we need when we are feeling down.

Thank you for sharing that :)

Come, Come, Ye Saints

With conviction

1.Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear;

But with joy wend your way.

Though hard to you this journey may appear,

Grace shall be as your day.

’Tis better far for us to strive

Our useless cares from us to drive;

Do this, and joy your hearts will swell—

All is well! All is well!

2.Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard?

’Tis not so; all is right.

Why should we think to earn a great reward

If we now shun the fight?

Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.

Our God will never us forsake;

And soon we’ll have this tale to tell—

All is well! All is well!

3.We’ll find the place which God for us prepared,

Far away in the West,

Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid;

There the Saints will be blessed.

We’ll make the air with music ring,

Shout praises to our God and King;

Above the rest these words we’ll tell—

All is well! All is well!

4.And should we die before our journey’s through,

Happy day! All is well!

We then are free from toil and sorrow, too;

With the just we shall dwell!

But if our lives are spared again

To see the Saints their rest obtain,

Oh, how we’ll make this chorus swell—

All is well! All is well!

@dinleyici111 I remind myself that I have made it this fair, and that progress doesn't have to be linear. You are either in the storm, past the storm, or about to go through one. All storms must end, but they are inevitable.
