Nothing Is Wrong At This Moment!💌
Heyaaaaa You Hopeful People! 💗
I hope you all have been keeping well!
I am here to share some insights about courage, hope and healing when growth strikes us! This will be a long post! So, I would appreciate your resilience to read it till the end! 🤗
Growth comes at a cost! It brings a lot of discomfort. When I talk about Growth, I mean all problems that emerge as opportunities/challenges to learn from and implement them in our future set of actions.
Have you been in a situation when you felt that yeah, I faced this problem back then and now I am in the same discomfort probably with much more intensity again?
I am sure you might have! So, Lesson Number 1, Don't escape or defer problems when they come to you because if you don't deal with them now, you will have to deal with it with more difficulty in the future or probably, you might never get the chance to deal with it? What a blunder we would do right? Deliberately choosing to not unlock our hidden potential!
When Growth comes, discomfort comes and there are times our mental and emotional muscles struggle to manage that! It brings with it anxiety, overthinking, procrastination, escapism, unprocessed emotions etc. To know more about anxiety, you can refer @AshleyNFlewellenLPC post in the 7 cups online therapy forum land!
While all this happens, we fail to manage everything in life that we used to be doing. And a chain reaction of getting drowned into the dark starts!
But there's just one thing that keeps all of us alive during the most painful times we felt we could never have endured? That is Hope! So, Lesson Number 2, Sustain Hope!
Hope is an emotion that finds possibility and discards practicality!
Hope is an emotion that believes when it's unbelievable!
Hope is an emotion that says you, you can do this! I am powerful! See, I am still standing when everything feels shaken!
When we start altering our negativity bias by replacing it with hopeful positive thoughts, we create our own light amidst all darkness!
However, only Hope does not sustain and complete the growth process!
So, Lesson 3, Build Courage to develop Courage!
Courage is something that brings you to action!
That thrills you internally saying, "It's done now! Get over your low zone! And wake up! It's a new day! It's your life and if you don't start now, nobody will do it for you!" Remaining in that zone brings no good feelings but when you take action, nature starts to support you in the process!
Yes, Life is a Lesson! It brings us phases we think we can never endure but ultimately, the brave people go through it, face it boldly, don't run away from it but stay, hold and survive the pain! And believe me, the Universe comes to your rescue no matter however long this pain might feel, everything just comes down to good! And if it isn't it's not the end!
I have been through this phase recently! There were things which were not within my control that I started thinking on! Got into an overthinking trap, built fears over my faith, tragic reflections from the past occurred and when they were looking deep into my eyes, I couldn't at first! However, now I realize that yeah! I got over that!
I have hope and belief! But I get to build the courage to start again! There have been zero days in my life for some time now! But, if I can say myself that I can, I actually can!
You know why did I write this? Because I know we all struggle during these phases! But I will just remind you that,
"No matter how much ever pain you are in, how much ever bad and ugly life looks to you, remember, it's not the reality but just your current perception of the reality!"
We act based on what we know until we know more!
Listen to your heart's wisdom and discard your head's ego, fears and insecurities!
Your heart knows faith, but your head reminds you of your fears!
Your heart knows what is right, but your head directs you to take up the wrong!
Your heart is your real soul, and your head is created by the limiting beliefs of our external influences!
Your heart looks for possibility over your head that looks for practicality!
Trust your instincts over your intelligence! Trust your intuition over your reason!
Discovering all this is a process which takes time and so patience and embracing imperfections/uncertainty during this time is equally important! Here, Lesson Number 4!
So, my lovely hearts! 💘
Don't ever forget how powerful you are! And how much the Universe supports you when you are all alone but transforming into a bigger, giant and beautifully gorgeous version of you!
And you are unique so your journey will be!
I will soon share some insights on how we can practically navigate the growth process!
Regards,
Resilience💕

@resilience2025 I'm actually struggling with a depression flare up 🙁 problem is I haven't accomplished lesson 1 yet, I always try to ignore and forget rather than face and learn to deal with it. Although I do always hold onto hope. And courage I'm half and half with, but I'm trying really hard💖💖 thankyou for making this post, it's great information I should really start paying attention too. Gives you a giant tiny hug 💗
@Tinywhisper11

@resilience2025 Such a powerful post, Resilience! 💖 Growth truly comes with discomfort and facing it head-on is where we unlock our true potential.
@resilience2025 all you need is love
The title made me not want to click, because denying that things can
be wrong in the present moment is usually a sign of toxic positivity.
I'm
glad there's acknowledgement that growth can bring great discomfort.
The title seems to run counter to the advice to acknowledge what's wrong
in the present moment, to not run away from it but to address it head
on.
Trusting
intuition over reason runs counter to what I learned in DBT, where it
is emphasized that we need to use wise mind - that is, a combination of
reason and intuition - in order to make good decisions. Trusting in only
our emotional reasons and actively rejecting reason, when our mental
health can influence our emotional reasoning in unhelpful and
potentially destructive ways, is risky. It's not an either or, binary
choice. We have reason and intuition for a reason. We can use both so
that our decision making can address real world limits while working to
overcome what we can.
I find sources of hope in
real life examples of people overcoming seemingly impossible odds. That
is a reason for hope which can be applied to present circumstances,
which can also inspire courage. If they can do it, perhaps I can too.
While the idea that our current perception can be mistaken or emotionally distorted is correct, I cannot change my perception that crimes against humanity are occurring in various places on the planet because I don't like that those things are happening, and the things just magically stop because I've chosen to stop perceiving them. I struggle with this framing when it comes to anything outside of us controlling our individual circumstances in otherwise peaceful circumstances. The idea that a person under constant threat in an occupation could just choose to not perceive the situation at hand and pretend instead that nothing's wrong in the moment can mean they wander outside, show up on a radar, and face deadly consequences for themselves and others nearby.
Abandoning their intelligence and reason and going against what their gut tell them, but also not running from the situation and facing it head on. Doesn't make sense to me.
Should I abandon intelligence and reason if someone calls me and tells me they'll solve my financial issues if I just give them my personal government and financial information, because my gut tells me to trust them, since they took the time to listen to me, validate my feelings, and promises me everything will be fine and that they're a legitimate person and I won't regret it? I'm facing the situation at hand and I'm going with my gut in spite of my fears and thoughts to the contrary, after all.
Balance is important.
Abandoning their intelligence and reason and going with* what their gut tell them, after choosing to change their current perception of their life-threatening situation because feeling fear is a "head" thing we're supposed to ignore, but also not running from the situation and facing it head on. Doesn't make sense to me. Sometimes, it's very rational and intuitively correct to feel fear. To pause in the face of real danger. To check if there's a threat, rather than just trusting that the war zone won't affect us if we just choose that perception.
To give you an example of how toxic this "choosing your perception cosmically creates the outcome" can get, there's a pipeline for this line of thinking which, if you go down it, leads you to people who will justify/ deny genocide by saying that the victims gave consent before they were born to experience what it's like to go through that, thereby erasing their ability to be victims and absolving the genocidal actors of being culpable for their actions, because they were just giving them what they allegedly wanted and chose.
If we're ultimately responsible for what happens to us, based on our perceptions, then no one can do anything wrong. Every atrocity is justified and there's no such thing as victims. Just people asking for it...
