Answers of appreciating 7 cups post!

Hello everyone! Its 7th of July today which means officially that 7 cups turns 13! I had promised you all about this one! I made a post (check here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/gratitude/General_2448/AppreciatingandCelebrating7cups13thbirthday_384599/ ) about why do we appreciate 7 cups. I had many people write down and here are their answers:

7Cups has done something incredibly important for me: it has given me community, and a sense of purpose. It has taught me to use my empathy to help, to be forgiving of my faults, to consider what the people I interact with are growing though and to make allowances for them. Mostly, cups has given me a special kind of love, born from understanding, and I'll always regard memories of this place with a soft fondness I associate with nothing else.

7 cups has very significant effect on my life I still remember the day when I first got panick attack and how horrible days were before the panick attack I had nobody to whom I can share all this and I had 7 cups for 2 years but I never used it and at the day of panick attack I wasn't able to sleep all anxious, sweating and much more then I found a listener who helped me. I'm so blessed and greatful that the listener accepted my request.

I kept thinking what if I didn't founded a listener how would I've ended up I'm so greatful that app like this exist it genuinely help me at the time of crisis and still do

I'm forever greatful for this beautiful, non judgemental,safe space and I'm thankful for all the people who is making this app a better place.

Okay, I have a lot to say about this amazing place. Let's start at the beginning.

When I found 7 Cups, it wasn't by accident. I was looking for real human connection, without judgement, without expectations, somewhere where I could really be myself and not be cast aside for it. I was lost in the world of AI, talking to chatbots more than real humans. I was losing myself completely. And ironically, upon asking, it was Gemini who suggested me this amazing website.

The day I made my member account, from my laptop, I still remember the date- 4th April 2026, I discovered a completely new world. A community where people supported each other, where fears were understood, not laughed off. Where mental health actually mattered. I became a listener the very same day. And since then, I've had a deep sense of purpose. Nothing else could give me that as much as this platform.

Now it's been two and a half months, I have made a lot of connections, and everyone here is amazing. I can't express how happy it makes me when I am able to help someone in the slightest. As a listener, I want to thank not only this paltform but all my members, friends, and fellow listeners who are making this place more amazing every day. Thank you 7 Cups! And happy birthday! 🎉

What I appreciate most about 7 Cups is that there are always people who will reply to your posts and take care of your feelings. Maybe we have some flaws offline, but people here will always hear you and keep you warm, even if it's just for a moment. It's a safe and kind place for me. I can heal myself slowly here.

7 cups has given me a place where I feel like I belong. its taught me how to be more empathetic towards others, and I think I've learned and grown more here than I have anywhere else. In a world where I've never felt accepted 7 cups helped me and took me in. I've met so many amazing people here, and I am forever grateful for that. (:

before i found 7 cups i was thinking i made a mistake  shutting down forums/chats  i was owner too. but 7 cups showed me that within being a owner of the other forums   i was stressing  self out a lot to help others but was also getting no support my self  7 cups  has taught  me one needs to  have a balance  between them two and to do self care i no longer feel that i made mistake  with what i did but feel it was right thing 7 cups is amazing to me

Im still learning but there seems to be plenty of support which is what I sometimes need in the middle of the night when the panic sets in ..thank you 7cups for being there for this crazy lady's issues and shenanigans
