What causes POTS?

For those who don't know what this is about (I couldn't see it explained in the post): PoTS is Postural Tachycardia Syndrome. 

Essentially it means that when a person changes position, usually, but not limited to, standing up, their heart rate increases rapidly. This can lead to light headedness, dizziness, fainting and more.
