Hey Everyone. Welcome to Desiree's Daffodils. We are on a mission to spread kindness 1 day at a time.
Below is the archive of how I celebrated February as my Kindness Month!
For the entire month of February, I will be completing a random act of kindness. I have created a calendar that I will be using and it will serve as a guide to what RAOK I will be doing for the day. This is a personal project of mine, but anyone is welcome to join me if they like.
Day 12: Give Someone A Hug & Kiss 🤗
Hey beautiful people! Today's RAOK is something we can all participate in. Let someone know you love them by giving them XOXO's. 🤗 💋

Day 13: Appreciate A Fellow Peer
As many of you know, I am a smile spreader for the peer appreciation program. For those that do not know or are not familiar with the program, it is where someone fills out a form writing an appreciation note for someone else letting them know why they are so amazing and why they are appreciated. A smile spreader will take your note/words and make a pretty graphic to deliver your note to peer in a beautiful post. It is that easy! Today's random act of kindness is something we all can do... appreciate a fellow peer! Think of someone who has helped you or has been kind to you and write them a note. It only takes a minute and you will feel great knowing you made someone smile. I've got my appreciation note sent in already. Who's joining me? :)

Day 14: Give Someone A Flower
Good morning everyone! Today's RAOK will be to give someone a flower. I do not celebrate Holiday's but I will be dropping by my local florist to get a couple of individual roses to pass out today. Until then, please enjoy this flower bouquet 💐 from me to you! Wishing everyone a beautiful day.

Awww, today is going so good. I kept true to my word by spreading love and kindness and I just wanted to share how I was a recipient of it right back... and from a complete stranger at that! Went into a store with my family to pick up a few things and the lovely clerk literally gave me a flower randomly. My heart is so full right now. I do not celebrate holiday's but this just added onto my good day. ♡ When you give freely and bless others, we definitely receive it back! Have a beautiful day, everyone. Hugs!

Day 15: Donate Books
I have been so busy the last few days that I have failed to get my daily posts in on time. I was supposed to get the kids' old baby books dropped off and donated 2 days ago. Better late than never though, lol. 📚

Day 16: Put a $ on a Vending Machine
Playing catch up here for yesterday-- but look what I spotted since I am out. Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day so I had to come out today of all days. It is because of this day (2/17) that Desiree's Daffodils was born, after all.

Day 17: Give Someone A Surprise Gift
Today is the day I have been waiting for! It is Random Acts Of Kindness Day, yayyyy! The day where we think of others and spread kindness. ♡ I have been prepping since last month and I had a friend of mine crochet little squishies and froggies to pass out and leave around for others to find. It was so much fun passing these crochet items and more kindness cards out in my community! My heart is filled with joy! I loved the look of squishies so much that I placed another order with her to order more and baby octopus (girly ones) to pass out more this month. I would love to hear from you all about what act of kindness you did today or what someone did nice for you. :) Hope everyone had an amazing day! ♡
