Girls: Ask Guys About Wet Dreams or Morning Erections!
Recently, @jesusredeemedme2425 made a post encouraging men to ask women questions about periods ( https://www.7cups.com/forum/gratitude/General_2448/GuysAskGirlsAboutPeriods_390650/ ). I quite liked this idea to encourage learning about each other, so I got inspired to make an equivalent post with the roles reversed.
I feel like wet dreams and morning erections are two things that come with a lot of misconceptions and wrong assumptions, so I thought it could be interesting to create this safe, anonymous space for people to ask questions about it.
I encourage everyone to be curious, because I am sure many of us would be happy to explain some things or share our experiences.
Ooh i love this! I've always loved having male friends I could ask about things like this. So helpful and informative! <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
I agree! I think learning about each other is so fun. I also enjoy learning about women this way. Although I can get a little shy about asking questions sometimes 😅
I'm glad you like the post idea!
Im shy about asking these kinds of questions lol, so we're on the same level lol
Does either one come accompanied by arousal, or does it just happen randomly?
@jesusredeemedme2425
Neither are necessarily accompanied by arousal. They can be, but most of the time it just happens randomly. It might be different per person. Some men never get wet dreams at all. Some get them very often.
For me, sometimes I just wake up and don't even remember the dream at all. The few times I do remember the dream, it usually feels like peeing in the dream, except when you wake up, it's not pee.
As for morning erections, they usually just happen randomly. They can even happen randomly during the day sometimes, even when nothing of sexual nature is going on.

Feel free to read or not read, share or not share, whatever you're comfortable with <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 Thank you for tagging me 💗🥰
@CubicCube42
I just made some similar posts. Would you like me to tag you in them? <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
That would be very kind of you! Yes please 😊
@CubicCube42
Done! Let me know if you'd like me to add you to my general taglist too (no pressure either way!) <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
I am not very active in the forums usually, so just these tags is okay for now. But thank you for the offer! 😊
No problem! You're welcome <3
Do you feel *** when you wake up in these situations?
Oops
Do you feel horn-y
That’s the word it censored.
@GreenLime3141
It's possible, but for me personally, generally not.
Men have something called the "refractory period", which is the period of time right after ejaculation. During this time, we experience little to no arousal, erections are difficult or even impossible to get and we also cannot ejaculate. In fact, during this period, sexual stimulation can even be uncomfortable or painful. The refractory period can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. It differs per person. It is the time that the body needs to recover.
This means that for wet dreams, since that is involuntary ejaculation, it is very likely that you wake up during the refractory period, meaning you do not feel aroused at all. And from personal experience, if I have this, I usually just feel annoyed because I have to clean myself, get clean clothes and clean my bed, so it's pretty inconvenient in the middle of the night. However, it is possible that you wake up quickly enough after ejaculation that you still feel some arousal if you happened to have a sexual dream. For me personally though, this almost never happened.
When it comes to a morning ***, feeling aroused is possible, but definitely doesn't always happen. For me personally, I rarely feel aroused when I have this. I usually just have to pee and I can't, because... well, in this state, you cannot really aim it down. Pushing it down is very painful, so you basically just have to wait it out before you can go pee. (hopefully that wasn't too much info... 😅)
@CubicCube42
I always wondered how that worked lol. Gravity and physics are not your friend at that point lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
Haha, no they are definitely your friend in those moments. Nothing you can do except wait 😅
What if you REALLY have to go??? Lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
You can kind of make it work by sitting down and bending your chest down to your knees, but it's not exactly comfortable lol
Ouch XD
@CubicCube42
Are wet dreams just something that happens when you're a young guy, or does this happen with older guys too?
@TovaCares76
This differs drastically. They are most common during puberty. However, they can keep happening until much later as well. This differs per person. It does generally happen less often if you regularly ejaculate though. And for most men, it happens way less often as they age. But wet dreams can still occur for elderly men as well.
