I feel like I'll never get a girlfriend
I'm 30M and have never had any romantic experiences in my life. It's nothing but frustration, disappointment, heartbreak, etc. I end up retreating into my head when I'm not in therapy or in the Bible or something. I know I am attractive but I'm also afraid that my attractiveness will die out over time and I want to date another Christian but that doesn't stop me from potentially getting hopeful and disappointed when attracted to someone else outside of Christianity. I honestly hate how rigid it can feel to practice it but I trust it to be best for me. I know I need to practice more hobbies and deepen my friendships and I tend to shy away from female friendships out of anxiety of coming off the wrong way or something else. I only had one female friend growing up and we were only like 5 and 10 years old lol. It was fun though. She's long gone now, geographically anyway. Besides, she lesbo lol. I've experienced verbal abuse about romance over the years as I used to get so obsessed over women I've crushed on so I can get kinda haunted over that as if it still happens but these days, I'm just not known I guess. I hover around out of anxiety and discomfort. I take meds that help and have a therapist so thank God. Idk. I kinda just wanted to get it out publicly. I think I need to just focus on me and enjoying my life rather than on romance. It apparently falls into place when you do that right?

Relationships are hard because we fear we may be rejected but if we never try, we never know. Most people have anxiety in making friends and maybe asking someone out for a date.
if your faith is important to you have you ever met someone at a church or social gatherings. honestly if you have guy friends maybe their GF or spouse has single friends. Networking can be important in finding a partner too.
I think u never tried to talk to a girl. Maybe fear of rejection. You need to get over it. Once you break the ice of being yourself things will be fine. I assure you .
