For me, Star Trek is a representation of what our world could be like if we just gained some interest in finding out about each other, and learning from one another. The mission of the Enterprise was to seek out new life and new civilizations and to boldly go where no one has gone before. All Star Trek is about is discovering people, learning how to get along with people, and how to make the world a more peaceful place.
Fun fact: The response to "Live Long and Prosper" is "Peace and Long Life" 🖖

oh gosh you should! Of course, the original series is good, but my favorite is The Next Generation. Such a good show!
