What made you guys find your purpose?
First of all, I just wanted to thank the amazing community for feeling me feel so welcomed over my past few days of discovering this website. Before I discovered this website I had been going through feelings of hopelessness and not being able to find my purpose and where I belong in life, this stemmed into other issues and I found myself in a really deep place. When I first logged onto this site a listener accepted my request almost immediately, and they talked me through some of the hardest thoughts I have ever had in my life. I'm pretty sure they saved me to be honest.
After being on this site for a little while and discovering all the features I started to feel better, so I decided to become a listener. After becoming a listener and having people tell me that I am making them feel better, and that I helped them work through some of the thoughts/feelings they were having at that moment a feeling of purpose and happiness washed over me and now I feel like I have finally found my purpose in helping people. So, sorry for the ramble but I just wanted to thank every single person on here for making me feel wanted even in the short amount of time I have used this website. I am so truly grateful.

@kindwaves69 It's so great you've found a sense of purpose here. I have felt good here as well. I tried being a listener though but it was quite overwhelming so I stick to being a member and responding to those forum posts that I have some insight into. I hope you enjoy your journey as a listener and learn new things and if you feel like you need a break you can switch to chatting here on the forums or as a member. Well done again on choosing the generous job of being a listener. 😊

What made me find my purpose is, the realization that i or humans on general, always crave for more of their wants /desires and the continuity of them being fulfillled. As for the restricted and time limited nature of this world, I realized that I can only be satisfied with eternity. An ever continuing novelty and deeper versions of all beauties, beauty of all wisdom, different feelings, compassion,freedom,love, friendship...Even there is no limit for purposes , one can always find better or more progressed purposes. Of course this is subjective, but I find my purpose in discovering new manifestations of God, divine love, connection and wisdom ( I respect all people with different beliefs or disbeliefs , I believe in God in Islamic way, but I love and respect all beings)
