Beleve me you deserve all good things

You deserve a decent life. You deserve kindness. You deserve happiness. You deserve money.

You deserve to be treated kindly, not because you've accomplished something great, but because you're human.

You deserve to have your feelings heard, your boundaries respected, and someone to believe you when you're hurting, without demanding proof.

You're not a burden. You're not a hindrance. You're not a sinner just because you haven't recovered. Good things don't come because we've "fixed ourselves." Sometimes they come because they see us still trying... and they quietly approach. Don't let anyone convince you that you don't deserve good. We all, whatever our experience, have the right to be given the opportunity to be vulnerable sometimes, and to be treated with all humanity. Be kind to yourself first, and let that be a source of kindness for the world around you. It all starts with you, and with your self-worth.
