Happy International Volunteers Day!
Papa (mommy's daddy) is retired but he is on a board at the hospital and he goes to help support new doctors, having been a medical doctor most of his life. [Spain]
Mama (mommy's mommy) is also retired but she is very political so she does things like that, she also supports me (of course all my granddad parents do) and other children she reads bedtimes stories and plays with children at the same hospital. [Spain]
Granny (daddy's mommy) helps are hopeless or needs help with money, including being part of the soup kitchen and making cakes and other things to sale to raise money that goes to help people who are homeless at the moment. [UK]
Granddad (daddy's daddy) does lectures for free in different universities and helps by doing gardening for older people (even though he is really old) who need help with that. [UK]
I think older people like my grandparents are amazing they know so much and regardless of being in Spain or the UK, they like to help people. I am very proud of my oldies
