Hello positivity and gratitude community,

The beauty of nature is in full display right now with the blooming of roses. This exquisite flower, with its intricate petals and sweet fragrance, has been celebrated in art, poetry, and literature for centuries.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the rose is also rich with symbolism. It represents love, passion, and gratitude, and has been used to convey messages of friendship, affection, and even apologies. It's no wonder that roses have long been a popular gift to express emotions and sentiments to loved ones.

Did you know that roses are not just beautiful, but they also have practical uses? In fact, rose oil, which is made from the petals of the flower, is widely used in perfumes, soaps, and other beauty products due to its soothing and moisturizing properties. Additionally, rosewater is a common ingredient in cooking and baking and is known for its delicate and unique flavour.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty and symbolism of the rose with a few questions:
What is one thing that you love about this flower?
What is your favourite colour or variety of rose, and what does it mean to you?
Do you have a special memory you have associated with roses?

@Mya000

Yay for roses <3

I love them because I feel they are just very classic and timeless.

I always gravitate towards white roses because they are my moms favorite.

What’s your favorite color Mya 😊💜

Yay for roses! I completely agree with you about roses being classic and timeless. There's something about their elegance that never goes out of style. It's lovely that you have a special connection to white roses because they are your mom's favourite. It adds an extra layer of sentimentality and beauty.

As for my favourite colour, it's a tough call because there are so many beautiful hues to choose from, but if I had to pick one, it would be pink. There's something so delicate and joyful about pink roses that always makes me feel happy and uplifted!

I happen to live near our city's Rose Garden ("El Rosedal"). It has thousands of rose plants. It's one of (if not "the") my favorite places to go for a walk.

I spend a lot of time contemplating and enjoying so much beauty. I can stay quite a while watching just one flower or group of flowers.

Roses seem so delicate but they are also very tough! They stand here all summer under a scorching sun, with temperatures from 30 to near 40 degrees Celsius.

Here, some photos I took recently and casually w/cellphone. I have the project to go someday with my "real " camera at the best hour, with plenty of time, to take the best possible photos I can.

There is a large variety of gorgeous roses, and I want to have a collection of photos to enjoy and do them justice in their full beauty.

It's a pity that file compression by the website damages so much the images. I will link to an album next time.
