@L1ly0ftheValley We must be related. 😊🌺 Very similar. Stay well. Blessings!
@Journey144 - Aww, blessings to you too. <3 :)
I'm going to answer every single one wrong and it's okay.
MY FAVOURITE
1. Smell: coffee. BECAUSE IT'S COFFEE.
2. Ditto on taste. I like adding chocolate syrup, cream and cinnamon.
3. Touch: my favourite hoodie. I wear it far too much; it's definitely NOT my favourite smell right now.
4. Sound: silence. Pretty sure this means something ominous if this were a book or movie.
5. Sight: water. Oceans. Lakes. Rivers. I'm a Canadian. We have the longest coastline in the world and are an ocean nation.
Actually I change all my answers to water.

Umm okay, let's see
Smell: His cologne. Oil, like car oil xD.
Taste: Vanilla ice cream. Plain. Also brings me comfort. As well as coffee well because it's coffee
Touch: Pens and pencils. I love drawing and writing. Him.
Sound: The sound of water and rain. It is very calming. And music. Any music at all.
Sight: Him. He brings me comfort, his smile, His eyes, his clothes, his body, his hands, his hair. Just him.
Ooh, love this post. I have a sensory passport with my likes and dislikes. I think that it is helpful as we can stop and pause at a time we are overwhelmed and see if the senses match our dislikes. And then we can use our likes to calm and regulate ourselves! I'm not comfortable sharing specifics but thought I'd share this.

Smell = My essential oils, especially the lavender one. It's my favorite. Very relaxing. 💜
Taste = Chocolate, freshly baked bread & Finnish buns that my mom makes. Blueberry pie. Just love the taste of these things.
Touch = Pets, especially dogs. Puppies. That soft fur mmm... 💖
Sound = Birds singing makes me happy.
The sound of thunderstorms, for some reason. Also there is something soothing about the sound of a crackling fireplace. 🔥
Sight = Beautiful landscapes, nature, rivers and lakes. Watching sunsets.
When I think about all this it makes me so grateful I have all my senses. We use our senses for so many things.
@Sunthruclouds I agree with you, so many of these! Especially your sounds.
Lovely descriptions there, dear! :)
Another wonderful sound for me is a summer sound. It is usually an outside, nighttime sound. On a medium cool to warm-ish summer evening and night, here we have lots of crickets. And they all chirp for us in the nighttime. I love how calming it is. Rhythmic sort-of and almost chorus like.
Yes, maybe it is weird. But I am thankful for crickets and their sounds that are relaxing for me.
#Platyisms ? Perhaps. lol <3 Platy ( @barncat @bookshugstea6370 @anomalia )
Smell: Wet dirt after a rain, reminds me when me, my brother and cousins just played in the rain, i feel nostalgic.
Taste: Fried chicken, chiken goog it makes me feel funni.
Touch/sensation: Hot red pozole during winter, i can't explain why a bowl of soup makes me feel comforted, but it does.
Sound: Rain, same reason as smell.
Sight: An empty street when My dad is driving, something about an empty street feels good, i can't explain why, something about all those cars zooming nearby feels just right, cozy even.
Lavender, Bergamot or Honeysuckle
Cherry or lemon
Fake sheepskin
Harp or Flute
Sunsets and Northern Lights
I'm just going to pick one for today. Today, I pick smell (or scent).
One of my favorite smells is such because of the memories that come flooding back to my brain/body when I smell it - GOOD memories!
One of my favorite smells is the smell of freshly made bread-dough rising in the kitchen and then (feeling/touch) punched down and divided into pan-size pieces. The dough then tucked into the bread pans and 'placed lovingly' into the oven (more feelings/touch/hands).
The smell intensifies as the bread gets closer and closer to being done, baking in the oven. The smell fills the whole house and would even "invade" the neighborhood if we opened the doors. It is an inviting, "mouth-watering" smell; an "ah this is home" smell!
When I was about age 3 until about age 9 or 10, I would help my grandma make homemade bread in their kitchen. We would end up with flour in lots of places! and hopefully enough IN the bread dough too. It was a morning project that ended with lunch and a nap. After our naps, the dough had risen enough and would be prepped for the oven (see above). After the baking, we would have amazing warm *tasty!* soft and scrumptious fresh bread slices, just Grandma and me (and later my brother). #GOODmemories #favorites 💛 Platy
