Self Affirmation practice
Affirmations are positive statements that can help us to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When we repeat them often and believe in them, we can start to make positive changes.
Let's try to do some Self affirmation exercises which may help us-
- Take three deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling to a count of 10.
- Stand in front of a mirror and look yourself in the eyes. Smile, if it feels natural.
- Say your affirmation (or list of positive affirmations) slowly and clearly.
- Repeat the affirmation(s) 3-5 times, really focusing on the meaning of each word.
- Take another three deep breaths, allowing your body to absorb the positive feeling of the affirmation(s)
After you are done with the given exercise try saying this statements to yourself and you may coment it down in the thread itself❤️-
1. I love myself the way i m
2. I am amazing the way i m
3. I m will do what i dream for and i can do it.
4. My emotions don't define me i m more than my emotions.
5. I m healing and i m proud of myself for coming so far until now.
6. I m trying my best and that's whats matters.
7. Everyone make mistakes & mistakes don't define me.
You can also tag your fellow 7 cups friend who can join us in participating in this exercise, wishing you all a great life ahead❤️

I really appreciate the tag cranberry, but saying things out loud is a very bad timing for me right now. I completely lost my voice today 😀 so i might have to do it next week

Thank you so much for this. I’m struggling with my relationship anxiety and remembering my worth in it. I got wired to be codependent and it’s painfully difficult to change. But I keep reaching for all the tools I can find. Glad this is one of them.
