Be stronger than I know.

To write.

I'm grateful for my ability to speak. To write and to sing. To play the piano and violin. To have my cat, to be alive. To walk and skip. I'm grateful for a lot of things that I never appreciated until I couldn't do them. I fractured my arm and crushed y ankle. I had strep throat and was, at one point, to sick to even move my body. I had lost these things for a while and never appreciated them until I could do them. Writing is my saving grace, as is singing. But when I can express how sad I feel with words I play it out. It was so hard for me during that time not to express my sadness. I love to dance and to just feel the balance of my weight shift from my feet, it calmed me down when I couldn't do anything else. You never realize what you love until you lose it.

I'm grateful for being able to stand up after being knocked down. It takes a lot to get out of the comfort of giving up :)
