Grieving over my family
Hi:
I am here because I am experiencing grief differently. In this case, I am grieving over the loss of being the black sheep in my family. The main reasons come from their lack of understanding, failure to accept me, and for being a truth-teller. As a result, my family members have treated me very poorly, and have very little regard for their actions. Meanwhile, due to having trouble communicating and trouble managing my emotions, I would lash out at times. This has been especially true when they have treated me poorly.
Though we are not on speaking terms, I heard through the grapevine that one of my sisters got married. Everyone in my family but me was invited. I also found out yesterday that they excluded me on purpose because they were scared that I would cause a scene. They also thought that I would get jealous of my sister getting married. Yet, at no time did they bother to consult me about it.

I think many could understand.
When we stand up to this and cut them out we need to see they make excuses they can understand ... it no longer is you avoiding being treated badly but that you are difficult and will cause scenes ... this is passing blame...
In the end no one wins.... you are hurt being left out ,,,,,, they too probably do not know how to resolve IF they even could ....... for all parties we should put our feelings aside and make amends if we can,
I have autism and so my family members have treated me differently than my sisters. In fact, they treated me like garbage.
