Hi, I know this message might sound weird on this community profile , as I know there will be some people here experiencing “real grief” the thing is that at the end of august I met someone , after having a horrible year with my health I was finally getting better and this person appeared out of nowhere , the thing is that I was asking to the universe to find someone like him ( it blows my mind because even the little details I asked about him were there ) he actually lives in another country, but his family lives where I live so he came for holidays at the end of august and I thought we both fallen in love so quickly, we spend the most amazing weeks , crazy for each other , he used to tell me he never felt like this for someone and he was already calling me my love, all his family and my family knew about each other , then I went to visit him to his country , and after that amazing time things started to get wrong , I asked him what was going on , and all of a sudden he told me he was not prepared to have a long distance relationship ( we already talked about this and he told me he was okay with being long distance before he changed his mind ) we are 3 hours from each other by plane anyways , the thing is after that he ghosted me, and I tried to contact him a few times because I truly felt what we had was real, and I don’t understand how someone can open to you like that and then disappear , it doesn’t make sense in my head, it’s been a month since we spoke last and k miss him deeply every day, it hurts so much and I wish someone could tell me what is really going thru his head 😔

@compassionateMango7961 Hi, I'm Celine :) I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's natural to feel hurt, confused, and upset after someone you care about suddenly pulls away. Allow yourself to feel these emotions without judgment. It's okay to be sad. If you feel it would help, consider reaching out one last time for closure. Remember that your value isn't determined by someone else's actions or decisions. You deserve to be with someone who appreciates and respects you. Don't internalize his actions as a reflection of your worth.

@compassionateMango7961 What you have mentioned you are going through is "real grief". Grief and loss is more than just losing a loved one to death. We can grieve many things and sometimes the loss of what could have been can hurt just as much. Never feel like your feelings are not valid. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story. With all that said, I'm so very sorry that (what seemed like) a beautiful relationship in the making turned out to be something that could cause you such pain. While I am glad you got to experience such bliss and euphoric feelings, genuine love is not short lived. What you have experienced-- being ghosted and told that he does not want a long distance relationship-- is very much a loss. Therefore, you have every right to grieve... though I wish you could see your value beyond what an external person makes you feel. You truly deserve to be loved, accepted, and fought for. Someone who really wants you and wants to love you will make time and sacrifice for and to be with you. You deserve to be happy. I hope that you are able to find heal and your heart mends over time. ♡ Please take care of yourself and your heart.
