Does having a pet in your life bring you comfort?
I feel like I wouldn't be here still if I didn't have her. I started having suicidal thoughts when I was 7 or 8 years old. When I was 9, I got lucky, and got her. I've come close before, but the thought of leaving her alone to be abandoned has kept me surviving. Comfort doesn't cover it 💜

She's so cute ! I've always wanted a cat but have been unable to since my parents are allergic. We got an outside cat once named snowball, but sadly she had kittens and ended up going to a shelter with her babies. I still miss her, she comforted me when I was upset.
That's what happened with my cat's sister. They really are comforting though, maybe one day you can have one ❤

I hope so ! Thanks <3

I have a pet, he does bring me lots of comfort but also grief at the same time as snowy is a 9 year old dog and i worry he could pass away any day :(

Hi emotionalTalker2260
Try to enjoy him, rather than worrying about when you'll lose him. I know it's a painful time when that happens, but for now, love him.

@lucy2
I try to (:
My cat I posted earlier in the thread is 14, so I get that feeling now that they're senior citizens. It sucks, but it also just shows how close you guys are.
@pandaprincess9
your cat is very beautiful 💕
100% absolutely. My dog helped make me feel human again. Dog is God at his best, which is why he enshrined his name backwards in them.
There is no unconditional love on this planet BUT a dog to their owner. We are incapable of it. Cats are definitely incapable of it. If anyone wants to save their life, adopt a dog.

Having a pet does bring me comfort, it helps me handle my stress and have someone with me almost 24/7
Yes, yes, yes! Pets are great. I didn't realize how much they would help me with mental health.
Only...
They have eight legs 😁😁😁
2 tarantulas. One is a Lasiodora Parahybana and the other is a Poecilotheria Metallica. Whenever I'm feeling down, I just look at them in their enclosures (while they stand there and do absolutely nothing), just fascinated. Love the little guys.
