Grief & Loss

  1. Grief has no timeline. Today marks 2 years since I lost my mum, and the weight still comes in waves. Some days I smile at her memory, other days I feel the ache like it just happened.

  2. Loss doesn’t go away, we grow around it. We learn to live with the absence, to carry both the pain and the love.

  3. If you’ve lost someone dear, know this: your grief is valid. Whether it’s been weeks, months, or years, you don’t have to rush healing or pretend the ache isn’t there.

  4. I’ve learned that love never dies. Even in the silence, I still feel her presence in my heart, in my words, in the woman I am becoming.

  5. To anyone grieving today, you are not alone. May you find comfort in your memories, strength in your healing, and hope in the thought that love endures beyond loss.

  6. Today, I honor my mum’s life and all she poured into me. This thread is for her, and for everyone who has ever carried grief yet chosen to keep living.

Such a beautiful post, @Lulucares, thinking of you and your mum today and sending tons of love and strength to you! 💛

I resonate with everything you’ve said here and it’s true there truly is no timeline to grief and no right/wrong way of grieving either.

It’s so courageous of you to honor her today and spread that warmth around, the love that you carry. 🥹

If you feel like a little need of some company today (or anytime), to talk to someone kind or just share how you’ve been holding up, please feel free to reach out to available listeners through your member account for emotional support. 💛 You’re as much deserving of care and compassion.

A little token of kindness for you and everyone coming across who maybe grieving too: https://www.7cups.com/forum/grief/General_2528/Aprocessajourneynotasinglestepnotthefinaldestination_251289/

@thehealingroomwithlulu thank you for this! grief is not something that just disappears after a certain amount of time, and that's okay! it's just love where nowhere to go. sending love to everyone going through a hard loss.

I lost my dad 27 years ago, and just as you wrote, grief has no timeline. I honor his memory every time I remember what he taught me to enjoy.

Thank you for sharing this, i appreciate it
