I found out that my dad is in hospice

Writing this is a trigger warning for me

Even though I went no contact with my family due them mistreating me,  I decided to ask a friend to spy on one of my sister's FB page.   It was through my friend that I found out that my dad is currently is hospice as the Parkinson's has progressed to that final stage.   

I am neurodivergent and my family members don't take me seriously.   Rather they assume that I don't understand anything and talk to me like a little kid.  Believe me, it is infuriorating talking about it as well.  At no time did one of my sisters bother to talk to me about my dad and his situation.  Instead, they left me out by acting like everything was fine. 

Although they have not been in contact with me, they sent a distant cousin to tell me.  Altough she's a lovely woman, she as not bothered to make contact with me during any other time.  So I just ignored her and I felt bad.

In the meantime, I am grieving by getting support from other people and other helpful resources.   I also praying a lot.
