Losing a parent is one of the hardest things a person can go through, and it is even harder when it happens at such a young age. Everything you are feeling is legitimate and normal; give yourself the time and space to grieve. Thank you for sharing. ❤

Hi. Thank you for trusting us with something so personal. Losing your dad at such a young age can make grief feel confusing because your mind was doing its best to protect you. Sometimes those feelings don’t fully surface until years later, and that’s okay. Finding his grave may bring up a lot of emotions, and whatever you feel sadness, fear, love, even numbness is valid. You don’t have to force yourself to grieve in any particular way. Just take it one moment at a time and be kind to yourself. I’m so sorry for your loss, and I’m glad you reached out. Sending you a big virtual hug. 🤍
