I said good bye to my aunt and my dog this week. Its been very tough. It's so true that everyone processes grief differently.
For several days I had very severe panic attacks and now nothing. I just feel numb. I'm not crying and that's ok. It doesn't mean I don't care, its just that my mind and body are processing everything differently in the way it needs to.

This sadness must be expressed by crying, dear. We all went through this difficult experience, and we must overcome it. With our support for each other, it will be easier.
@BorahaeAndHappiness I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt and dog. Grieving the loss of loved ones can be an emotional rollercoaster. Your feelings and reactions are valid, and there's no right or wrong way to grieve. It must be tough to navigate all these different emotions. How have you been coping with these losses so far?
For me, for at least these last 6 weeks coping with my husband's loss it has been overwhelming, it has been full of tears but also laughter as me and my kids and his friends have shared memories of him.
My husband was the biggest goofball and a storyteller so there's a lot of stories about him. So the moments that have meant the most to me were always with him and our kids and it's like he's still here still listening to our stories about him. it makes me more aware of what time I have left and that there's no guarantee that the time I think I have will be granted me. it makes me want to move closer to my grandbaby it makes me want to keep my kids close to me. I don't think I've progressed far enough in this grief to have experienced things like our anniversary, his birthday Father's Day those things.
@Paisleykaat It sounds like cherishing the memories you created together while also grieving his loss has been both comforting yet challenging. Take all the time you need to feel and honor your emotions through this difficult journey. What other ways have you found helpful in coping during this overwhelming time?
@ASilentObserver
I grieve the loss of my innocence and naivety. Although I can appreciate the learning and growing I did through the challenging and traumatic experiences, I miss the young girl who used to look at the world with nothing but hope and optimism.
@neatBlueberry5213 I understand those experiences helped shape who you are today, but the loss of that hopeful girl can still be painful. It must be hard missing that part of yourself. You're on a journey of growth and change, and that young girl is still within you. What parts of that hopeful girl do you miss the most?
@Saly33 I'm sorry for your loss. Losing those who are closest to you, who brought so much love and warmth into your life can be incredibly difficult. Their absence has clearly left a huge hole in your heart. How are you trying to cope with and process these losses currently?
@ASilentObserver
Many years have passed, and I cannot forget that. Every day they live with me in their memory. I tried to develop my skills and change my place of residence. Until now, I feel alienated in this big world. As if life had no one left, only me. I lost my passion in life. I do not know how to overcome that because I love them so much.
