my ex told me he'd commit. Like an hour ago. I was powerless to stop him. I couldn't. my ex cared, and care abt me a lot, so I respect him. But I still broke up w him because he didn't make me truly happy and it seems like I didn't to him either.

anyways. I dont know how to feel. ive texted his friend to help him because i couldnt physically be there but the message didnt fckn send because i didnt have enough money on the phone to send an sms message.

i rlly cant cry rn, i dont think its hitting me yet. i know, though, that when it does, I'd probablystart blaming myself. i jst

rn idk please , what do i do

@alinawren okay listen up. As someone who has been in a similar situation. Once you break up with someone. You block them. For your own mental peace. Also, most of the people who do what your ex did won't do anything, only make you panic. So if you wanna be in the completely clear by conscience, just message his parent/sibling/friend. Send him a helpline number. And block. They are not your responsibility anymore.

@alinawren exes are exes for a reason, and you can't move forward in life if you keep circling the old patterns. So block, delete his number and never look back ❤️

@alinawren I can hear just how heavy and overwhelming this moment is for you. You’re moving through something incredibly complex—grief, fear, guilt, confusion—and it makes total sense that it hasn’t fully hit yet. Sometimes our minds protect us by holding back the full wave until we’re ready to feel it.

The fact that you reached out to someone to help him, even in a moment of panic, speaks to how deeply you care. You’re not wrong for needing space, and you’re not wrong for hurting now, even if everything feels blurred or numb.

If things feel too much or too quiet right now, you don’t need to figure out how to feel or what to do all at once. Just breathing, even that, is enough for this moment.

You’re not alone here. When you're ready, this space can hold it with you.
