Wellness Accountability Huddles: Monday Kick-Off Week 4 (March 9)
This week, our focus shifts to Managing Setbacks. We’re in the home stretch, and this is the perfect time to tackle the setbacks that may (or may have already) present obstacles:
- Identify the Setbacks: What setbacks have you encountered so far in your journey?
- Share Wisdom: What is one reminder you can share with the group about handling setbacks?
- How do you feel about your goals starting this week (1-10)?
- What's one thing you can do to get ahead of any setbacks you might suspect coming up (or manage the current setbacks)?
➡ Remember to check in with the group every day (or as often as you can) to share a progress update and be sure to interact with each other, as we are much more likely to be accountable as a group! Let's support each other!

Back from PT.
Things are focusing much more on strength, plus still trying to regain a bit of that flexibility that isn't quite there.
I'm planning on keeping up the 6 days/week of doing some PT exercises. I'll also aim for 3 days of more focused strength training but that's definitely going to be a challenge.
So not super confident on the 3 days a week aspect, we'll see what happens. If I'm only getting to it 2x a week, I'll be satisfied, especially weeks when I have medical treatments as well.
@Heather225
I have no goals this week except for being gentle with myself. The setbacks are if I give in to stressful thoughts and urges, if I fear to slow down. To overcome them, I'm going to do one small task that makes it easier and then hopefully it'll be easier to do the rest.

Identify the Setbacks: What setbacks have you encountered so far in your journey?
@Heather225 The setback I have had to navigate is losing a friendship because I am standing stronger on my boundaries, but I do feel better for trusting in myself. The lesson I've learned is that I matter and I don't have to compromise my values for acceptance. This is why I don't have an issue with engaging in the recovery community and being around others who are positive because it helps with decreasing stress and managing my depression. I don't want to make bad decisions to fit in, I want genuine love around me and people who love me for who I am and not who they want me to be.
