ATTENTION: Brand-New Community AMA Team! [INACTIVE - NO LONGER ACTIVE PROJECT]
Sign up for the Community AMA Team!
Calling all group mods, come sign up for the Community AMA Team! This is a great way for you to gain recognition for your hard work here as a mod, as well as make friends with fellow listeners and members! We know you'll do great!
Here's what you need to do...
1) Be a group moderator! (Psst.. if you're not a group mod and would like to learn more about it, click here)
2) Have the Guest Host badge! (You earn this badge by hosting one discussion in a support room. You can nominate yourself by going to your MY IMPACT page!)
3) Successfully pass an application, which includes a simulation AMA and a moderator mock chat.
4) You will be leading with a cohost, so you should be able to respectfully and productively cooperate with your cohost, whomever they may be, and please do not sign up to lead an AMA with someone with whom you know you don't get along with. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation!
5) Must be able to commit to one discussion/AMA per week.
Okay, so I meet all of the requirements. What's next?
Apply! You can find the application by clicking here.
If you pass the application, a Team Leader will contact you via PM with some important information on how to redeem your badge and sign up to lead AMAs.
If you have any questions, please contact a Team Leader!

Thanks for your ongoing dedication to making AMAs the best they can be! Good luck! :)
Umm not to sound mean or anything but, are we talking about AMA in the forums or in the chatrooms?
The forums seem pretty silent, I have no idea about the chatrooms but, I'm sure they will do fine... Good luck to anyone who wants to do this.
I thought that the point of the community AMA team was so it wasn't all about mods, but also other listeners and members. so why would only mods be allowed on the team
@heyworlditsok Hi! Thanks for your question!
The reason that mods are the only ones allowed to be on the team that leads the AMAs is because in the event that something happens during the AMA and a mod is needed, we would like mods present at all times and the way to confirm that mods will be present is to ensure that they're the only ones leading the AMAs.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to PM me or ask via this thread!
