Depression Support 1 Update
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Depression Support 1 will soon be badge locked, so that only those with the Group Chimer badge may access it.
To earn the Group Chimer badge, you must have at least 5 group chats.
If you're a regular user of the room, it's likely nothing will change for you in terms of being able to access DS1. You can check your profile if you're unsure whether or not you have the badge.
Anyone who is unable to access this room can continue seeking support in Depression Support 2 or the Depression Community Room.
This badge lock is being put into place to prevent harmful users from returning on multiple accounts, and to protect the regular users in that space.
I will update this thread once the badge lock is in place.

You have to send 25 messages in the chatrooms for one group chat. So 5 group chats is equal to 125 messages sent in the groups before unlocking DS1
I've been here 2 years,yet I'm locked out. Sure I've participated in 5 chats. Confused.
@mutter3 Clearly the badge issue has not been resolved as @Heather says it has.
You are missing the early badges, as I once was, such as Bundled, Linked, and the problem seen here, Group Chimer.

@mutter3 I don't know. I first asked about it in April and got the badge in December :(

Could it be that all three of your accounts were made in 2014, and when they made the badge, they forgot to make it proactive for those already registered?
@CalmSunset Quite likely...I've been around since 2014, and likely would have received the "chimer badge" back in 2014 if it had been around then. So...when they created it later on, it didn't get awarded to those people that would have achieved it previous to the badge being created.
@CalmSunset That *was* the issue that was supposedly resolved in December. Heather was saying it was resolved, but clearly it wasn't fixed for everyone.
@AffyAvo Thanks for tagging me! And Im sorry it took so long to get an answer. But now our email coordinator and community assitant @Amelia surely gets those answered faster.

@Heather I still don't have the Group Chimer badge...and I've been here for a long while, and have had PLENTY of group chats under my belt. I've got all the other Group support badgesI believe, but do not have the Group Chimer badge. So @AffyAvo 's concern is quite likely still a concern. Just thought I'd let you know that it doesn't seem like that issue has been totally resolved. Might be something you to look into in this next week so that people that should be allowed in that room and use that room regularly, aren't excluded from it, due to an error. Thanks.

@Heather thanks for looking into it or getting someone else to. I hope the issue will be looked as a whole, and not case by case as people realize they're locked out. I'm sure there are many having the same issue as me, but maybe haven't realized it.
@Moj I hope so too! When I mentioned upthread about seeing someone who was missing it, they aren't someone who has posted here.

In order to go into the Depression Support 1 group support room you must send 125 messages in other group support rooms! The Depression Community Room and Depression Support 2 rooms are available until you reach that 125 message mark, or the other group support rooms as well.
