I can't type in the chat rooms?
I'm having exactly the same problem since yesterday ! I'm on my mobile but also NOT on the app and whenever I try to send a message by pressing enter , it won't work

@ih0pe. I wonder why this happens.
@Fear333 - it turns out different devices send the enter key event in different ways. apparently we were missing something.

I just tested it out again in group chat to see if it's working . Sadly the problem is still there for me :( the message is still refusing to send !

@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn same thing is happening to me delay in messages being seen unless i refresh the screen
@peacefulSoul8 - delay in messages being seen would be a different bug from not being able to send messages at all.
I'd like to keep these issues straight.

1. when did it start?
2. what device are you on (laptop or phone type, etc.)
3. what browser are you using?

It started for me on Thursday afternoon . I'm using Google Chrome on my android phone .
@ih0pe - so before that the enter key would send messages and afterward it would not?
we're not sure exactly how that changed but we're trying to figure it out.
Likely we will add a "send" buttton to the text box so that people can use that if the keyboard doesn't do the trick.

Yup , since Thursday the enter key is refusing to send any messages , until then it always worked perfectly .
I think having a send button will be an awesome solution to this and it should also mean that there won't ever be any similar problems arising with people's browsers in future . So it seems like a good long term solution too ! Also I really appreciate your help with this , thank you so much :)
