Keep disability room a 24/7 room

I can't agree more. The times I need support most are those middle-of-the-night moments of feeling distress or middle-of-the-day times where I'm having a hard time from disability stuff and want to speak to a group of others with similar experiences. I doubt I'd be able to use it much at all if it were only available here and there. Plus, the slower stream of replies is really helpful because if too many people speak at once I can't keep up because of my processing disorder, so I probably wouldn't get any benefit at all from cramming everyone into a single time slot.

Obviously the disabled community need a community room. Its so hard to connect with people when you are ill or infirmed or otherwise disabled when people just dont understand or dont want to understand.

Hope you keep it.

We really need our support space. This site is for emotional support and that includes emotionally supporting people with serious physical disabilities/illnesses which can be difficult for people who aren't in similar situations to understand and want to listen to all the time. It isn't feasible for us to take our issues to one of the other rooms. They have different purposes and we would be making their members uncomfortable.

I believe we are pretty sensitive to your needs and concerns. Still everyone is an expert on their own so thanks for all your thoughtful comments, they help us to understand. You are also your best advocates since you raise points that might not been mentioned before.
