Announcement: Trauma Chatroom Opening

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I would like to share that we are opening a Trauma Support Chatroom as a rotational room on Sunday for both sides. It means the room will be open for 24 hours on Sunday and the rest of the week it will be a pop-up room that can be opened by the hosts to run support or guided sessions.

The Trauma Support Room will be used for

Support for traumatic experiences

Support for DID (Dissociative identity disorder). As we do not have a dedicated room on this topic yet, so the Trauma room will be used for now.

Points to remember

• Everyone will be allowed as long as they are supportive and behaving as per the chatroom guidelines. Please read about the guidelines here: https://tinyurl.com/yz7hvraj
• Sexual Abuse/Assault are covered under Traumatic experiences. Please use "SA" as a trigger warning ahead of the share and keep the share focused on your emotions rather than graphical information of the experience.

• If we do not find a room supportive, compassionate, respectful, the room will be closed immediately because if the room is not serving the purpose of supporting you, it wouldn’t be setting a healthy chatroom example.
