Introduction: Participation Guidelines Reminder
Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a supportive and compassionate experience in the chatrooms. But, if not! please do share your feedback with us here: (Member Chatrooms) I (Listener Chatrooms)
In the past week Group Support Check-in, members and listeners shared an idea- Participation Guidelines Reminders. And, I am glad to introduce it today.
The reminders rules are simple!
- Every time someone would be joining the member chatrooms or listener chatrooms, the participation guidelines will be shared in the room.
- Anyone can send these reminders in the room so to ensure we do not miss sharing these guidelines.
The goal of these reminders is to ensure everyone reads, understands, and follows the chatroom guidelines to help each other have a positive and supportive chatroom experience as a group. All chatrooms are operating under Zero Tolerance Rule for any form of unsupportive behaviors in the chatrooms.
Here is the reminders template that you can bookmark and save and start sharing in the chatrooms
A. For the Member Chatrooms
Hello, everyone coming in! Here is a reminder of a few of our participation guidelines. Our full guidelines can be found at the bottom of this room under “Please read the Chatroom Rules”.
(1) Welcome and Greet everyone.
(2) Be nice, respectful, and compassionate to each other.
(3) Be inclusive and encourage and help everyone to share their story.
(4) Please break your messages/ shares into short sentences.
(5) Lead by a positive and helpful example and match your actions with your words.
(6) Please do not indulge in personal attacks, derogatory language, or disruptive or unacceptable behavior.
(7) If the share is triggering, please send, “Trigger Warning” and the topic before starting the share.
(8) Follow the guidelines and everyone can enjoy a happy chatroom experience.

@Listeningsarinn sure, we can sarinn. like to help me with the rule draft? it needs to be simple and one liner.
finally something getting done 🙄 as the rooms right mess right now maybe something can be done when discussions going on to as they don't follow the rules and just blank them and members are so rude and disrespectful and don't listen. Even when they get warnings too. And it not fair on people that want join in them and u get people that just being stupid
@Iamalittlerebel rebel, you could drop these rules during your discussions or in general participation. I hope it helps all of us.
also think also support room and members room really do need sorting as they use mbers room as support & support room for light headed stuff 😬

From my app most text appears nearly black on a black background and this impossible to read- this looks like just headers so I’m not sure how to get the content.
