Introducing our new Welcome box!
As some of you may have already noticed, there is a new pop-up welcome box when you enter the Sharing Circle chatroom. This is to help any newbies entering and to remind everyone else of our guidelines and how the Sharing Circle works.
We are hoping that this will help reduce interruptions during shares and help our wonderful hosts and facilitators as well as member-powered sessions!

I never saw this message, is it available to members only? :o
But definitely an amazing update, it'll be helpful for sure. I'm also hoping if the sharing circle scripts, and guidelines be linked to the sharing circle room's chatroom rules. (I dunno how tech-feasible this is lol) but would be great to have the link to the script and guidelines handy, in case a host or mod is not present for the time being.

As far as I can tell, the message box only opens for members entering the circle and only on desktop
I love that idea Sun, I will investigate if that is possible but I think all group chat rooms have the same chatroom rules section so unsure if we could add the links into just the Sharing Circle.

I did think it must be same for all the rooms, but yes lol, maybe the Tech-Gods can hear us and do something about it. XD (Ofcourse if they too feel it'll be a useful update)
Oooh I just had another thought, in case it isn't possible to link SC guidelines and scripts to the SC room alone, perhaps it would be possible to add a comprehensive spreadsheet or document with different scripts and room/ session- specific guidelines, in the chatroom rules (all of them), it'll be helpful for other sub communities and general rooms too, if there's people interested to host on-spot in any rooms (with relevant discussion script) or need to brush on some guidelines, be it as a host or a participant.

Lou, this is a great idea, and I have noticed members using it when they enter. For example, they enter with a star like this * instead of asking so many times what Sharing Circle is about, because it's up front and center like that. Very good.
