Your Space to Be Heard! Join The Sharing Circle

Hello everyone,

You might remember the Sharing Circles—an initiative we launched a while back to create a unique space for support and connection. Fast-forward five years, and the heart of what we aimed to build is more vital than ever.

We know life throws a lot at us, and sometimes, all we need is a place where we can share what's on our minds and hearts, without interruption, without judgment, and with the full attention of others. That's exactly what our Sharing Circles are meant for.

So, what makes these circles so powerful?

It's all about intentional listening and turn-based sharing. Unlike regular discussions, this is a dedicated time for everyone to get a chance to speak and truly be heard. Imagine a circle where you can express your feelings, and others are there to simply listen and then offer encouragement. It is a truly supportive and uplifting experience designed to help you feel seen and valued.

Here's how it works:

When you join a Sharing Circle, our host will invite participants to enter a queue (usually by typing a simple “*”). Then, each person gets their turn to share. Once you've spoken, the rest of the group can offer encouraging and comforting words of support. It is a structured way to ensure everyone gets their moment to be heard and uplifted.

Why should you participate?

In a world that's often noisy and fast-paced, the Sharing Circle is your safe space. It's a place to:

  • Feel truly heard: Share your thoughts and feelings without interruption.
  • Connect deeply: Build genuine connections with community members.
  • Offer and receive support: Give encouragement and receive it when you need it most.
  • Practice mindful listening: Develop your empathy by truly hearing others.

Ready to find your voice and connect? Whether you are looking to share, listen, or just be part of a supportive community, the Sharing Circles are for you. If you've been a part of our Sharing Circles, would you be willing to share a quick thought or testimonial about what the experience has meant to you?" or "For those of you who've already experienced the warmth of our Sharing Circles, we'd be so grateful if you could weigh in! What's one nice thing you can say about the support and connection you've found here? Your testimonials are a wonderful way to help new participants understand the unique value of this space.

Join the Sharing Circle here and let us know your experiences in the comments below.

I hosted SC sessions a couple of years ago and I saw how people who shared can find a bit of relief and also those who listened to the sharing can build their compassion and know that by supporting those who are struggling can be a part of the healing process.

Hello everyone how to stop paranoia I'm struggling with being paranoid with every little thing and it's starting to make me ill. I feel like I cant relax in life at the moment. Also I'm worrying about alot of things; I'm even finding it hard to sleep in the nights.

I'm so glad I got to experience the sharing circles. I really appreciate how people can queue in and speak freely about whatever's on their minds. It's truly meaningful that once someone finishes sharing, the group offers them encouragement or words of affirmation.

@ASilentObserver

Thanks for the post and for all the love you have spread across communities, Obs !

I'm curious on the sharing circle on the teens part of 7cups. I noticed that we hadn't had one for months and I'm wondering how to signed up as host and if I still needs to have attended 5 sessions (can't remember how much session it was required) before able to apply for the role.

Thanks for everything again *passing cookies if its ok ୧⍤⃝🍪*
