Easter was different for me this year because I end up going to my bf's mom's house. If not we buy a ham and fixings and have a meal me and him. This year we didn't order a ham and sides, what we ate was ribs and Walhburger's cheeseburgers lol. Still good but not holiday meals, he wished his family happy Easter on the phone. His neice was sad that she couldn't get everybody together, she said that it was not the meal she misses but seeing everyone's face, face to face. Kinda felt bad but she understands it is for everybody's saftey. She knows that I am moderate/high risk because of my Remicade iv medicine I take for my crohn's. Not the most entertaining holiday one can have but greatful to have my bf on the holiday. Hope everyone had a alright holiday take care/stay safe and healthy etc...

Oh gosh what wasn't different. I'm pagan and my family's catholic so while I don't celebrate the same holidays as they do it sucked that my boyfriend and grandma couldn't come over because of the quarantine. I really missed talking to them and seeing them. We cooked a good lunch but it was very much a day where I felt isolated and alone. Like I couldn't talk to anyone about anything. It rained and stormed all day so I couldn't go outside but it was nice to nap while listening to the thunder.

Last year I spent Easter alone in the apartment taking care of mine and my roommates' guineapigs, while they went home to visit their family.

This year I spent it with my mom and working the dinner shift at the retirement home I work at. It would have been better had my mom wanted to play a game with me or something, but all she does is scroll on her phone, like every minute when she's not at work.

Next year, hopefully, I should be with my husband (who I am only engaged to right now).
